ANR-Postdoctoral position in Integrable Systems LAPTH (Annecy) and LPTM (Cergy-Pontoise)

Job Description: The current project takes place within the ANR contract DIADEMS, focusing on various aspects of the theory of (quantum) integrable systems. We put a particularly emphasis on the study of associated algebraic structures: elliptic quantum groups, dynamical quantum affine algebras and quantum reflection algebras.

A postdoctoral research fellow position in this domain will be available in 2012.

Several axis may be considered, e.g.:

• Generalization of dynamical classical and quantum R-matrices depending on (Poisson) non-commuting variables;
• - Interpretation of the classical r-matrix structure for complex Sine-Gordon model, and quantization thereof;
• Higher Poisson structures and their quantization for dynamical r-matrices;
• Relations with Manin matrices and their generalization.

The candidate should have a strong academic background in classical and quantum integrable systems.

The current project is funded by the ANR contract DIADEMS. The starting date will be fall 2012. The duration is 1 year with possibility of up to 12 months extension. The first year will take place in LAPTH (Annecy), and the extension in LPTM (Cergy-Pontoise).
